Q. How far in advance do we need to book you?

A. It all depends on when other couples call to book your date. Dates are reserved on a first come first served basis. The first couple with a signed contract and retainer fee books the date. I recommend you contact us as early as possible, as a lot couples do book well in advance.

 

Q. Describe your style and the way you work with your clients.

A. I like stress free shoots and hanging out and having some fun while we spend time getting to know each other during the Engagement session. On the wedding day, I like to step back and let the day unfold naturally, stepping in occasionally when a photograph would benefit from a different or more flattering pose. But the most important thing of all is having fun!

 

Q. Are engagement sessions required?

A. They're not required, but I HIGHLY recommend them to clients. Having an E-session allows me to get to know you and how you interact with each other. It also gives you both a chance to get to know how I work while getting comfortable being in front of the camera. The engagement session tends to act as the foundation of the relationship I build with my wedding clients. We all know that weddings can be pretty hectic, so it also gives us a chance to spend some quality time together in a relaxed setting prior to their wedding day. Oh yeah, the girls like it too because it gives them a reason to go shopping :)

 

Q. So, we like you and your work…how do we book you?

A. Awesome! Well I require a signed contract and a retainer fee to reserve your date. The non-refundable retainer fee is $500. The date is still “up for grabs” until both items are received from clients.

 

Q. Are you willing to travel to shoot our wedding?

A. Ohhh yeah! I love to travel!

 

Q. My venue requires proof of insurance from all my wedding vendors, Do you carry insurance?

A.This is such an important question for your photographer! Being that your wedding is a one time event, it is very important to be prepared for any unforeseeable events just in case. For that reason, I carry a business liability policy that covers any type of accident or mishap at the venue that was caused by my equipment (ex. someone trips over a light stand). Also, if needed, a proof of insurance certificate can be provided to your venue. The second type of coverage I carry covers all my equipment including my backup gear. This policy allows me to immediately go out and replace all the gear that I need to shoot your wedding in the event of some unforeseeable circumstance like theft.

 

 

Q. Will I be able to print the pictures?

A. Yes! Along with a disc of the photos, clients are provided with an unlimited print release agreement, allowing them to print the images. Although prints are relatively inexpensive these days, remember, you get what you pay for. I do recommend using a professional lab or going through us to ensure professional quality work.

 

Q. Do you edit all the photos?

A. Absolutely! This is where a good chunk of the work takes place. I work well past your wedding day, spending an another 30-40 hours ensuring all images are the best they can be for viewing and printing. Every image is checked for correct color, exposure, and contrast and edited as needed.

 

Q. Will my friends and family be able to see our photos online?

A. Yes, your photos are placed on my Proofs website in an online gallery that is password protected. Friends and family can even order prints of their favorite photos online as well.

 

Q. What type of albums do you offer?

A. I only offer the best. My albums are stunning in quality. Pictures cannot convey the quality of these albums. You will quickly understand when you see them in person during our first consultation. Give me a call if you would like to see these babies in person.
